This system has been hacked by X-Evil

Last week one of my computer has been infected by a virus that create a warning message on the internet explorer title window saying:
"This system has been hacked by X-Evil".

Everything seems fine except this warning. There is no other file being infected on the machine and there also no disruption on my browsing experience.

I tried several anti virus but they didn't recognize this virus and hence unable to remove it from my system. At the end of the day, I upgrade my Internet explorer to the latest version and the message disappeared.

Configuring GMAIL Google Apps MX Records on EveryDNS.net

You can host your company's email using google hosted service. Gmail is a well known free email provider as well as paid corporate email service. You can register and start using gmail with your own domain.

After register for the service, you still need to update your MX records and point it to google hosted service. And if you are using everyDNS free DNS hosting, you can configure gmail/google apps MX record with the following steps.

Configuring GMAIL Google Apps MX Records on EveryDNS.net

  1. Login to your everyDNS account. (Their website can be reached at either everyDNS.com or everyDNS.net)

  2. Select the domain you want to configure.

  3. Add records under Add a Record form.

  4. Fully Qualified Domain Name: fill with your domain name, i.e anakblog.com
    Record Type: MX
    Record Value: ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM.
If MX Record, MX Value: 1

There are some MX records. Please add them all one-by-one. ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM. is the primary one and that's why you set the MX Value to 1.
For the rest, fill the same for Domain Name and Record Type, and the Record Value and MX Value as the following:
    ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM. 5
    ALT2.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM. 5
    ASPMX2.GOOGLEMAIL.COM. 10
    ASPMX3.GOOGLEMAIL.COM. 10
    ASPMX4.GOOGLEMAIL.COM. 10
    ASPMX5.GOOGLEMAIL.COM. 10

OK, that's all. For more reference you can read google support website below:

Turn Off Mozilla Firefox Automatic Update

I want to share the simple way to turn off the auto update feature on Mozilla FIrefox Web Browser, as you might have disturbed with the pop up while surfing your favourite websites.

1. On Mozilla Firefox Menu Bar, click on Tools and select Options.

2. On the Options window, select on Advanced and point to Update tab.

3. There are three Automatic Update that can be enabled or disabled independently. I choose to disable all by removing the check sign on each update option.

4. Restart your browser and now you won't disturbed by the Mozilla Firefox Automatic Update anymore.

The webmasters and blogging resources provides articles and readings about webmasters and blogging, especially wordpress. Why wordpress? Because wordpress is the most favourite blogging platform and also the best open source content management system for websites.

OK, I am trying not to talk that much about the website. Just check out the article list and you will soon bookmark the website.
